Helen Cooper & Sue Doherty – 51 Quail St, St Helens
Born in Campbell Town, Helen has pursued photography as her favourite pastime for over 15 years. She happily retired to the beautiful and peaceful east coast seven years ago and now has the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Australia. What was once a hobby became her passion and her photographs are now sought after by locals and visitors. Supported by Darrell, who frames her work, she specialises in landscapes and seascapes, capturing the very essence of the east coast environment.
Sue was born and raised in Launceston. She married Michael and together they raised seven children before retiring to Low Head, where she discovered a vibrant photography group had been established. Say no more…Sue became hooked! With her trusty camera, she has found inspiration in the many waterways, pristine inland regions and beautiful coastline that Tasmania offers. ‘Photography is my emotional eye…I capture the world through my lens, and Tassie is my inspiration,’ says Sue.
